With nearly two decades of industry experience, our founder - an accomplished private jeweller - has built &OR to specialise in high-end remodelling, antique jewellery restoration, and bespoke commissions.
The name &OR embodies limitless possibilities - ‘it could be this, it could be that’ - reflecting our belief that jewellery should evolve and be cherished over time. We believe every piece has a story, and jewellery should never be locked away but worn and enjoyed, gathering new memories along the way. At &OR, we take immense pride in transforming pieces that hold sentimental value into something new and timeless. Whether it’s remodelling a family heirloom or crafting a custom design, we ensure that each piece captures the essence of its past while being cherished for generations to come.
My journey
I’ve always been drawn to hidden treasures, a fascination that began in childhood. As a young girl, I would spend hours digging in my parents' garden, uncovering forgotten objects like old clay pipes and pottery shards. These discoveries sparked a deep interest in objects that hold memories and tell stories of times past. That early curiosity shaped the course of my life.
Fast forward 30 years - countless commissions, two children, and one very special ring later - &OR was born. The journey of building this brand has been fuelled by a love for preserving the sentiment behind each piece of jewellery, allowing its legacy to live on. Every design at &OR reflects this passion for storytelling, where each item holds not just beauty, but meaning, ready to capture new moments in time.
Professional background
My love for jewellery stems from a lifelong fascination with the stories and memories that treasures can hold. To pursue this passion, I studied at the prestigious School of Jewellery, where I earned both a BA (Hons) and an MA in Jewellery, Silversmithing, and Related Products. Additionally, I completed a Foundation in Gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, deepening my knowledge of precious stones.
To complement my creative expertise, I pursued an Executive MBA at London Business School, equipping me with the business acumen necessary to run a successful brand. This blend of creative skill and strategic insight allows me to offer a comprehensive approach to jewellery design, whether working with individuals or global brands. My career has taken me through some of the world's top jewellery and watch companies, shaping my commitment to creating unique, personal pieces that reflect the individuality of each wearer.

By repurposing existing metals and gemstones, we reduce the need for new mining, which helps preserve the environment and lessen our carbon footprint. Recycling materials also allows us to create beautiful, bespoke designs while honouring the sentimentality of the original piece.
